Factory recommends changing every 100,000 I believe but most people only go 60,000 so I would change them

yea i have open differentials there ok ive never been stuck with them so i really dont care i might eventually get a eaton lsd or something but yea no prob nice vid we just had about 11 inches here in va so we had some fun in the f150, and do you think its easy to do donuts with open diffs since only one wheel is spinning or do you think they both spin in the snow and mud and sand and stuff

Oh yeah you can do donuts with only one tires spinning. And yes if its slippery you can get both tires spinning.

its completelly different with a limited slip. you will fly around real quick when you do a donut. you just have to be careful going around corners your rear end will slide around on you thats the only downside to it. it gets real bad when it rains. but my trucks got 106000 miles and i think it had the original plugs in it it made a huge difference. just MAKE SURE you blow the air out after u take the plug boots off before you take the spark plugs out there will be a ton of dirt there. if you dont have an air compresser like me you can use those canned air dusters they work just fine. make sure u use motocraft too these trucks are picky.
