So what all can I swap from a '99 Navi to my '99 F150?
I posted a little while back about a 99 Navi engine swap into my 99 F150. It turns out the engine is a 5.4 SOHC, but it should be the 260/345 version. I am still working on getting the engine pulled due to all this snow. The guy offered the rest of the Navi to me for $200. It's not wrecked, but it's in rough shape.
What all can I take off of this thing that will swap to my truck? I've already paid $300 for the engine and everything attached to it (including harness, ECU, alt, starter, exhaust etc.). Will anything else be an upgrade or worthwhile taking since it's ripe for the pickin?
Brakes? (Never hurts to have bigger brakes when adding more power!)
Anybody know if the rear is a limited slip that would work in my truck (mine has open rear)?
How about a front end conversion as in hood, grill, bumper, and fenders?
This thing will probably go to the crusher so I'd like to rescue as much as I can before that.
Thanks,
Jason

Check the door tag for the axle ratio. That will tell if it is LS, or not. The entiire axle will nit swap, without wok, as the rear suspension is different. Both should have 9 3/4 rear so diff is swappable, but would require reset up. Also gear ratio would need checking if you have 4x4. Not sure about brakes. Front end is definitely doable, several places offerd kits for this at one time. See Blackwood.
Front seats and console are swappable, or you may find some one on here to buy the console. IS the interior intact?
I would think you could use your existing wiring harness, computer for this engine. But I am not an expert.

Thanks for the quick replies guys. I should've mentioned I have a 4.6 with manual trans. I'm swapping in a low-mileage 5.4 in place of my high-mileage 4.6. Should be a worthwhile upgrade with intake, exhaust, tuner, and e-fans.
Interior is intact. Sounds like the rear end will be more trouble than it's worth. I could probably find a junkyard 8.8 LSD to swap right in for a nominal price.
And yes, I can use my computer and harness. I may have to find a different flywheel, but that's not a big deal.
