headlight question

Well i got a set of 1 piece halo's for the truck, and im having some issues with them mounting flush. i was thinking that maybe since they are a universal fit for a 97-03 that maybe my 97 headlight panel might be slightly different than the 99+. any comments would be greatly appreciated.

check your build date early 97 (before 6/96 i think it was) has different headlights. the whole headlight corner light assembly is together in a black frame. the only lights i have found for this truck are from LMC. GL

yes check your build date, if its before 7/96 then you need the retaining bucket or you can just swap the header panel for a post-date truck

Raptor sorry i forgot all about the pics, but 1st thing in the morning ill pull them out and snap a pic.

Fitment problems with one piece headlights is fairly common and why a lot of people stay away from them. Good luck getting yours to work.
