well things took a turn for the worse today.. started her up and half way to work she developed a really rough idle, then started stumbling and wouldnt accelerate.. however if i went WOT she took off and ran great.. anything less than wot she would run like complete crap.. came home changed the fuel filter cleared the codes and now she runs a bit better but has a lope at idle.. no codes yet but with that kind of idle its only a matter of time before it comes back on..

Consult TSB 01-9-7 for the full list of probable causes. Read sections E1 and E2.

What it boils down to is that the O2 sensors are reporting that the system is still too lean although it's maxed out (commanded) rich.

That means that either there is excessive/unmetered air, insufficient fuel, or something is interfering with the ability of the upper O2 sensors to accurately measure oxygen content in the exhaust flow for both banks.

Yep, a loose IAT grommet will definitely set a lean DTC, that happens quite a bit as well.

i think my problem is fuel related.. it was running like garbage today.. and it only got worse the more it warmed up.. but at a 1/4 tank of gass i put in 2 bottles of fuel injector cleaner and 10 gallons of 93 octane... and now it runs and accelerates perfectly.. idle is nice and smooth at 600 rpm like normal.. hmmm

Without going back, you have changed the filter correct? Yea, sounds like the injectors with drivability issues + DTC's

finally figured out what was the problem...... had a CAI plus a superchips flash tuner hook up to the truck.... the flash tuner wsas made for an absolutely stock truck and so it was causing the computer to lean out extra because of the CAI added xtra air. problem solved!

It's pretty darned important to CLEARLY disclose modifications when asking for diagnostic help.

You basically wasted a lot of time and effort by not doing so. Next time, please keep that in mind.

Glad you got it take care of anyway.

i did include all the information when i was asking for diagnostic help, also i didnt waste alot of time because it was preventative maintenence that needed to be done neways, however the person did not really realize that it was a problem until he sat down at thought about what could possibly be causing the problem
but yea fixed!
