What would be my highway rpm with the 4.56's? Just curious. Would like to get that little bit of pull back and maybe a little more. I never go on free ways so i usually keep my speed around 60 or less unless I'm passing. Thank you guys for all the help.

I would say probably around 2,100-2,200 at 70mph with 35s and 4:56s

He and I have the same ratio if he is running 3:55s. I have 33s and I am pushing 1,800-1,900ish at 60. I would be willing to bet that he is running even lower than that. At 70 I am between 2,000-2100. The larger the tires get the lower the rpms get. Works same way reverse.. Numerically large gears with small tires=high rpms

Just took it for a ride and at 55 in over drive I am at 1500. Couldn't get it to go into over drive at 60 for some reason and didn't want to push it because the roads are getting slick. It wouldn't be bad if I could keep it between 1500 and 2500 with a set of gears. Still sound like I need 4.56?

the link i listed has a calculator that will tell you what rpm's you're at at what speed. i would suggest 4.56's bear in mind that bigger tires are heaver so even if the calculator says 4.10's will bring you back to stock, i would suggest some more umph. your butt dyno will thank you.

Would 4.88s be to much for 35s?

youll be good with 4.56 from what ive been told (thats what ill be going to for 35"s). even 4.30 if you dont tow or haul often. if you plan on 37+ the concensus is to get 4.88 to save from doing them twice

I agree. Although I can not say from my own actual experience, I would be willing to say that some 4:88s would light up those 35s pretty easily. Then again, im sure you could do the same with 4:56s too. Its only a matter of how high you want your rpms going. Gear ration goes up(numerically) gas mileage goes down(quickly )
