Got bored

and have been wanting a black grille/insert so i took mine off and paitned it. while it was off me and my buddy were trying to find a place to mount lights behide the grille or under the bumper. well there were 2 holes in the bumper but the lights hung wayyy to low. and the grille is plastic and the lights woulda broke it. so we made some mounts off the frame rails and put the lights on there. heres what we got.

grille on no lights.

Grille w/ lights.

Running lights+big lights

Brights+big lights

im happy and i love the lights. now when people high beam me it'll be fun!!

took it off. took a di grinder with a flat thingy on it and grinded off all the chrome then scuffed the plastic with 120 grit then used 2 cants of gloss spray paint and went over it a few times and this is what i ended up with.

really dont even have to grind off the "Chrome" its only a chrome paint. just sand it a little to scuff it up and use some primer or adhesion promoter and i used duplicolor since i did ptm and it takes a couple coats and a clear but worth it

my grille isnt just chrome paint. on the places where mine is chipped, its like peeling off, but its like a layer of metal.
