cold air intake problem

cold air intake problem

i just out a cold air intake on my 03 fx4 and it didnt have the places for sensors, so now my check engine light is on. is there anyway to use the old sensors or to just get the light to cut off?

Unless you can get the sensors in there, it's going to run bad and get crappy mileage. You are supposed to reuse the stock sensors.

did you order the cai for your specific truck? if you did you need to get ahold of whoever sold it to you and demand a refund. if it was just a generic one thats your problem right there.

Its generic... I guess I need to figure out how to include the sensors or take the cai off

you should just return it and do a "Gotts" mod, its cheap ($12) and just a effective IMO
