Wheels, tires, and tint go along way on a lot of trucks. Take that off the red one, and it wouldn't look so hot. Throw the same wheels, tires, and tint on your new one, and it will look just as good. Chances are it will look better though b/c nothing is sexier then a lifter single cab, with a straight bed. Lifted longbeds look amazing too.

Screws are really nice, pretty much all 97-03 body styles lifted look good to me, but something about single cabs just does it for me.

Yeah, when i first bought the red truck it was totally stock and didn't look nearly as good as it did when ig ot rid of it. On my green truck the windows are just rolled down, but i already had them tinted.....20% all around. It already put 305/70r16's on it just a 7" oem rim same as my others but they were on 10" rims. I was thinking about buying an extra set of wheels for it, i really like the DC-1's or Mickey thompson i put on my other truck, but honestly it wouldn't be worht it, i could use the money elsewhere......plus i like big tires on oem rims the way they bubble out. Those just aren't my fav oem wheels but they'll do for now. I've already decided that when these tires wear out im going with 315/75-16's.....truck will be a dog but it'll look sweet!

I like regular cabs the best because im not good at keepin my vehicles clean so less room to clutter it up and leave trash. If i had the bigger cab it would just be more junk piled in it.

If i was gonna get something with a bigger cab it would be a screw! I like the look of those with some nice tires over the extended cabs.

That your truck jbrew?

Same here. Mine isn't filled with trash and crap, but jackets, shoes, cloths, fishing stuff. I had an 04 supercab, and that back seat was like a storage room. Plus, with a single cab, you never get suckered into driving when you are with a group of people.

That screw does look really nice, but I can't imagine having a shorter bed then I do now. Plus he has a tool box in there. My jon boat would have a hard time fitting I think.

Haha.....yeah im already growing attached to the longbed, prolly won't ever go away from the longbeds now!

Yeah mine is filled with shoes and cloths too! lol I never really actually thought about it but i guess that is why no one ever asks me too drive! hahahah!

I think my truck will look pretty much as good as that one if i put 35''s on it. But the color is def better than mine.

No, it was one I looked at, but they wanted WAY to much for it.

Super clean tho. I usually like white trucks, but that color looked pretty good to me, - haven't seen to many of those. I think Gater Crew has one that color.

About 2 years ago, but still. That one had 91,000 miles lol.

Hell, I sold my 01 screw with under 50,000 for 7800 last winter, but it was 2wd. Had a 5.4L tho..

I'll just keep driving my 98. It been paid for (think it was paid off in 01 lol). It's to hard to beat anyway, never had a engine problem. Keeps going (a quarter million miles +)and it's sort of part of the family now lol.

Still, that is a ridicules price. Wonder if they ever sold it at that price?

The 5.4 in those trucks is unstopable. I put my 98 with the 5.4 thru hell and it ran perfect. It had 180k when i sold it. When i owned it i was 17 so my foot was always in the gas too.

And paid off trucks are the best kind!! I plan on driving my 97 until it wont anymore!

You ever think about putting 35"s on it or just leaving it like it is? what all you got done to it?

Nothin special, just intake (built many intakes, found a combo that works best) and exhaust, I'll post the sig. Last winter I ripped every brake line out of it and ran all one piece lines. Most everything I did to it is online.

First album is here, the album ONLY works if you hit the repeater tho, usually 3 times is a charm. With a PC , hit "Control R" - A Mac it's "Command R" until the pics come up. That triggers the old galleries on this site, only way I know of. Old Galleries -

https://www.f150online.com/galleries....cfm?gnum=7538

New Galleries work fine, they are here -

https://www.f150online.com/forums/me...ew-albums.html

Vids and other stuff are here -

http://picasaweb.google.com/home

Most everything done is documented to some extent lol.

No 35's on this one. I pull a car hauler with it, quite a bit sooo..

First album opened up for me on try #2! lol Vids didn'twork tho...
Looks like you take care of it.....i really like it! Looks like you've done a # of things, prolly a world of difference with the exhaust!
I was wondering how you like those bilstiens, what do you think about them?
Have you ever heard of a B&M shift+plus? I had one on my 98 5.4 and it seemed to me to improve or made the shifts seem firmer/maybe quicker to me. it's like $35. It had a couple of different settings for a firm shift and even firmer shifts. since you haul stuff that might help some. might be something you wanna look in too idk....pretty cheap anyway!
