Oil Pressure Problem? Dont think so, but light is on
i have a 97 f-150 with about 112000 miles. This happened to me twice.
Recently I was driving and waiting at a light, my truck lost power and barely had any throttle response. I noticed my Check Engine and Oil Pressure Lights were on, so I pulled into a parking lot and checked my oil, it was fine, no oil leaks, and my oil gauge needle was in the middle.
So i turned off my truck and turn it back on, Check Engine light was still on, and the Oil Pressure light was off and the truck runs fine.
Like i said this happened to me twice in last 2-3 weeks. The first time it happen, the Check Engine light went away 2-3 days later.
Anyone have a clue?
