i got some codes for ya

Well i am working on my brothers truck and i plugged in the modis scan tool and found the codes p1850, p1854, and p1858, now it said these codes where for plates b, c, and d. but what can i do about fixing these plates?

These are codes indicating control circuits to the transfer case are open.
You have to look at the harness, plugs etc to see what you have then go deeper as warrented.

Thanks Blue grass, would you happen to no what color wires go to these plates also, and are these plates in the transfer case itself or are they in the electric wiper motor looking thing on the side of the transfer case?

At the moment I have to leave for a trip but will look at my service disc later to see if there is info on this.
If the codes are not "old" history in memory the trans 4x4 must be out of order.
Exersise the plugups and look for a harnes issue/damage, in the mean time.
(If ) the codes clear with a reader or scanner, they no longer exist after a short time when the 4x4 is operated.
