I hope I dont sound like a broken record with this question, couldnt find answer so here goes. Fords part number system used to be simple. prefix, basic number, and then the suffix. simple right? C=6, D=7, E=8, F=9 etc than came the turn of the century, great! how does the prefix play into the model year since 2000?? any logic appreciated.
