Go over to Autozone and get your battery tested.

it tested good still doing it is there a consistant power supply to the ecu that i maybe could have blew a fuse on ? i guess i should rephrase the problem after the gauges sweep it will start up like normal but before they do it will not it will crank with lots of power it just seems like the ecu is reseting each time i shut the truck off

It sounds like the hot wire to your cluster has fallen out or something. Do your radio presets reset as well?

Either a bad start interrupt relay or connection. It's usually an overlooked connection.

I had that problem with quick connects before, but it's usually the connection on the starter itself. Check the ground behind the passenger side tire on the frame as well.
