I recently ptm my grill surround and added some Hella 500FF lights behind the grill. The fog lights look "clear", and w/ the chrome bumper, I'm thinking my stock headlights look a little cloudy. I'm considering some Lightning headlights, but I'm concerned they'll look a little ricey on my truck ... any opinions?

Thanks for the comments/pics. I really like the Lightning heads on street trucks and heavily modified 4X4's, but I'm still not sure if they'll look out of place on a basically stock truck like mine ...

 

if you think the lightnings would look like rice, you could look into the STX headlights

 

I have even contemplated switching to STX headlights and L corners on my truck, and ditching the black lights.....but I still don't know if I will....

 

Expy4X4, Thanks for the suggestion/pics ... I was not aware that STX's came w/ different lights (I guess I need to get out more often). Are they very common, I didn't come across any when I looked on ebay the other day. One of the things I like about the lightning heads is the round appearance they have looking at them from the front, which will tie in well w/ my round grill lights.

 

actually STXs lights (to me) are as rare as the harley headlights but don't cost as much, they design is the same as the harley headlights but without the amber strip at the bottom

 

I was just looking at a set of OEM harley lights for sale in the classified (too steep for me), and noticed the same thing.

 

Harley heads are spendy.
