the ONE good thing i will say about those trucks, is you can put some miles on the motors, the other day i saw a k2500 5.7 with 378k miles on it and ran perfectly.

besides that keep with ford

yeah a buddy of mine has i think over 400k in his 93' k1500 5.7ltr. sounds kinda jaloppyish tho...if ya kno what i mean.

im just gonna do a small maybe 3 inch lift and 285s and drive it daily

The TBI's are a lot better than the vortechs. It isn't hard to pack alot of miles on the TBI's, they are decently built motors. The vortechs have poor valves usually have to be done by 120-150k miles. Also the intake manifold gaskets are poor because of their genius idea to put an aluminum intake on cast heads.

still chevy tho I almost bought a 97 light duty f250 (looks like f150) had those same 7 lug wheels yours has. do you have like 3/4ton axles or sumthin?
