Lift or Lower?

I am torn. My truck is 2WD, but I have seen some sweet lifted 2WD's, and I have seen some sweet lowered 2WD's. What direction should I go?

Lift it! Maybe you want more opinions, because I am biased. But that is what I would do.

If I was to lift it, at the most, I'd go with a 2-3" BL.

With that being said, what size tires should I run, and what gears for the rear end? I have 355's now.

I like the look of that. What did you have to do to level it?

i have a 1.5" daystar leveling kit. it was a really simple install. or if you want alittle more you can get 2" lift coils and 2" rear blocks which would look good also. theres a guy with that set up on a 98 i think his s/n is 2wd98f150 ill look it up.

edit: found a pic hope he doesnt mind me posting it

Good lookin truck you got there! It's really up to you to lower it or not. Especially road conditions and stuff where you live... If it's mostly on the road, DROP IT! But seems like you do alot of 4 wheelin' so LIFT IT! It'll probably be harder to bring that 4 wheeler down though..

I live in a very rural area with a lot of dirt roads, creeks, etc. I had this truck given to me by my grandparents when my wife got pregnant, and I love it. My only complaint is that it is not 4WD, LOL.

It currently has 128K on it. They purchased it brand new off of the showroom floor, literally.

I chose not to do anythign with my suspension partly I didn't want to deal with the wear and tear of it, and everyone else has. So in stead I went with making my truck look more rugged with out haveing to lift it.
