special touches

i didn't see this anywhere on this forum so lets see your upgrades that make your truck stand out from the rest! i.e. grills, lights, hoods, paint, stereo, fiberglass work, exhaust, interior/exterior. try to include pics and description and maybe even where you purchased your upgrades.

I like mods that look like they would've come that way from the factory. I wanted a unique interior, but didn't want the normal glossy look that alot of ppl go for. So I went and bought some flat black duplicolor plastic & vinyl paint from AutoZone and sprayed away! Also, back in the day (when I had my '02...the interior mod is in my '03), I don't remember ever seeing a paint to match expedition lower valance.

Yeah it's actually held up very good, even on the door panels, where I was questioning whether or not it would. I did have to repaint one of the switch panel pieces on the door panels, but that was because I didn't clean it as thoroughly as the others before I painted it.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I did it. I figured it'd be easier to paint a contrasting color than trying to match the factory color. I think the tan interior is most notorious about chipping. Grey doesn't seem to do it as much.

maybe im missing something but why do you think that your lower valance is an expedition piece?? at least the one pictured.. it is simply just a 4wd lower valance from an F150.. and besides.. mines painted red to match my truck... sooooo yea...

what makes mine stand out would have to be the dents in the hood from when i took out a street sign... those pesky lil things just jump out at ya in the winter.. LMFAO
