i dont know what to think about those companies. on one hand ive heard and read alot of horror stories about paying but them never paying out or changing when the vehicle coverage begins. then on the other hand us fidelis sponsors a nascar team and its one of those things like how can a scam artist company fund something like that with out getting into some kind of trouble? 400 a yr isnt bad but you have to get specific info on what that covers, how they pay out, and when the coverage starts or pre-existing issues in writing in case they try and screw you out of a claim. to me it seems like its not really worth it but then again i already have a new motor which i doubt they would have some stipulations on. just like an insurance company i doubt theyll replace something thats worth more than the truck.

something ive been wondering about is the Valvoline guarantee. not trying to jack but i wonder what that covers and if my new engine would qualify or not.

USFidelis is a bunch of high pressure scam artists. There are over 1000 outstanding complaints registered with the Better Business Bureau. They are not a warranty or insurance company, they are brokers.

I was looking into these also when I was buying my truck. I have heard that they will say they cover all front end suspension parts, just say, but then in the fine print it will say it doesn't cover ball joints.

FWIW, I would pass on them.
