Arrow Sweet Nighttime Pics! (56K warning)

So since I moved here last month I've been looking for a really photogenic background for some new siggy pictures (seeing as I went from the country to the city) so tonight I went cruising and came upon a little public park located in downtown Tallahassee between two opposing one-way streets (ironically called Park St.). Well anyways, heres a few cleaned up shots I got with the water fountain!

Out of the 25 I took, here are the best ones:

Then:

Tomorrow I'm going to get a few more shots with some different angles. I still need to get help on nighttime photos; I want to up the speed, but then the camera doesn't get much lighting... I like the first and 5th one the best. Which to use for a signature: HIDs on or off? What do you guys think?

Yeah my camera died after that picture. Tonight I'm going to try and get the truck turned around so I can get the front through the fountain.

Use a tripod or get a better camera.

I used to have a 10MP Canon Rebel XTi with a tripod but it went bye-bye. Right now I'm using a crappy 4.2MP Sony Cyber-Shot. As soon as I get a job I want to save up for a DSLR

More pics tonight since I just got done with my drop shackles

There are plenty of good cameras between what you've got and a DSLR. Don't forget, if you go DSLR you need to invest in lenses, filters and whatnot.

Does your Cyber-shot let you adjust shutter speed, aperture, etc?

Where did you buy your HID kit and what are the details on it? Bi-Xenon? 35 or 55 watt? Was it direct plug and play?

I know, I'm an amateur photographer and was the photography editor for my junior and senior year in HS. If only I had the buget of a High school!
