Now is the time to trade up.

Might be just around here but the dealerships were drooling over my 97. (It was very clean.) after the cash for clunkers they have squat for 4x4 for under 8 or 9 grand. every dealer i went to was offering more than the last 1. Ended up over 1200 over the recomended trade in value. Barely under selling it outright. Trading in also takes some of the sales tax down so it worked very well.

They didnt even give me any of the normal B.S. that adding exhaust, intake, or a lift doesnt make it worth more. I almost smiled when they told me the offer but figured I would lose all my cliff huxtable negotiating advantage(thats a cosby show reference for you youngens)

It was hard letting go but it was time. 13 years is a long time for any truck.
Good luck!

2in leveling spacers are first then exhaust and intake. tunerafter that. wheels next summer probably. depends when i need new tires. Think i might turn one of the running tubes into a removable stripper pole for the bed. Sitting in the black leather I feel like im at the booby bar. Wonder if i can turn the back seat around and use the power slider like a peep show.

As much as i loved my 97 i cant stop looking at this truck. If my wife takes it to town one more time im going to punch her in the eye. She never wanted to take the old one.
