I have a 2003 ford 150 it has 147000. kms on it just latley is started smelling like propane and I had the cats cheaked they are fine and it is not a propane model. We don't know why it smells like Propane, any answers?

It might be running rich. Is the CEL on? Any OBD2 codes?

 

usually when you get propane smell or rotten egg/sulfur smell its due to the cats..how did they check them

 

Cats generally only smell when it's running rich.
