If I remember correctly it is just a 3mm LED, You have to wrap it around the light holder thingy yoursaelf.

I have to ask, all these years I've had my truck I've never seen the selector switch illuminate, nor the fog light indicator panel light up. Do these have bulbs or not?

The pic above is how it liights up, However it is (from the factory) Green and the Indicator for Fog On is a amber colored fog light pic and for autolamps if you have them is a simple little amber dot under the autolights timer dial.

Lame, you'd think theyd put a light under the dials, indicators, and position labels, not just position labels.

Agreed, I thought the same thing, I even looked at a switch I had apart to try and figure out how to get the light on the dial, to no avail though.

I'm sorry

Hey I'm sorry I tried to do this I got the 3.7 20mah blue led and the 680 resistor

I am missing something I been thru 2 LEDs and they only last about 2 minutes each and die

I find the longer positive lead and I attach it to one end of the resistor and the. The other end of the resistor to the wrap around part of post and my negative lead goes around the other contact of the post but seconds to minutes later poof the led dies?

I have found the bottom of my contacts for where the post attaches is the positive I'm actually descent with electronics and what not but I'm stumped by this one ?
