I assume you have a 4x4 because of your name. Go with a 10 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing. If you are stock height, go with a 33x12.50 tire. This will put the edge of the tire/wheel just about even with the edge of the fender flares. I have pics in my gallary if you want a visual. You will have to trim a litttle plastic off the front bumper's lower valance for clearance. I'd also crank up the torsion bars enough to level the truck.
great info thank you. yeah i got 4x4 and i also just recently cranked my torsions. i love the leveled look but is it the lower the backspacing the wider it will be? oh yeah and whats the offset or your wheels?
yeah i think i might just go with a mickey thompson 16x10 and a 33x12.50. its hard to find rims with our bolt pattern these days. i was thinking about getting a wheel adapter to change the bolt pattern to a 6x135 because i was really looking at the moto metals you think that be a good idea or not?
No, they are a bad idea. Not only do spacers/wheel adaptors cause problems like vibrations but they will push the tire/wheel outward causing ftment problems.
