1997 - 2003 F-150

please help!!!!

please help!!!!

i have a 1999 f150 4x4 with a 4.6 in it i was tourning the corner the other day and i was not in 4x4 and the driverside axle poped out of the diff and the gear oil came out i was just woundering what the problem could be and how i should go about fixing this ?

the plate that the axle bolts to has come right out of the diff

front or rear?

I think fronts just press in, you probably have a bad CV joint and it got stiff and wallowed the hole out and then it just fell out

i took it apart today theres clips that holds them inplace just like on the rear ones and nothing else got damaged in the front diff so all was good now i just have to find what gear oil would be the best to refill it with because i snowplow and also how i crank up the tortion bars in the front

The front axle specs for 80W90 conventional gear oil.
