New Exhaust for '03 Screw 4x4?

Looking for opitions on a new exhaust for an '03 screw. I'm possibly looking for cat's back w/a nice throaty sound. Single or dual exiting the rear or behind the wheel/s. Not sure on that. Current mods are a CAI and an Edge Evolution. Not sure how much that would impact the decision process for an exhaust...

Thanks

I think Magnaflow offers the best value in exhaust products, which would be the #15749. It should be had for under $500, closer to $400 I believe.

I vote for Magna flow as well. I am running almost the exact same set up as you would be, and I am very happy with the results.

Did you have to remove the spare tire to fit the duals?

Where did you buy your's from?

The stock spare should be OK, you can still have a OEM spare and run true duals, at least the shop that did the install on mine was able to work around it. I did remove it though because I punched a hole in it off roadings. Besides, I'm running 35's anyway. With my current exhaust setup, an OEM spare will fit underneath the bed but a 35 will not.

Honestly, it's been a few years and can't remember where I bought the parts from. I bought the mufflers and tips on-line, then took it to a local shop and had them run and bend the pipe. They did the install with the parts I provided. Performance wise, I think 2.25" pipe will give you the best results. If you want more loudness then performance, then I would go with a wider pipe.

I have a dynomax bullet 3" flow through muffler and i like how it sounds. i had the shop run it out in front of the rear tire with a SS tip and altogether i think i paid between 90 and 120 installed if you not looking to spend $400.

I love my Borla SI/DO. It has a nice throaty tone and does not pop like some mufflers. It wasn't that loud at first but now it's perfect.
