grille/header panel removal
ok, i finally got the pinstriping done so my transformation from this:
to this:
is just about complete. all i have to do is install everything now. i tried searching this section, and other sites. but nothing came up searching "grille removal".
i did read in someone's thread that the headlights & markerlights had to be removed. but i was looking for a more detailed explaination, so i dont break anything. can anyone give any advise so im not going to regret trying this on my own?

i assume you want to take out the grill and surround, and not the header panel. the header panel is what the back of the headlights mount to.
but anyways, take a look in the how-to section for a superduty trans cooler install on a red lightning. they took the grill and surround off for the install and it is we documented

thanks. but the paint that the previous owner had done is in bad shape. there are a lot of rock chips. i could just get it touched up, but i dont know what color that is called. i also dont want to "pimp" someone else's truck. doing this is my way of putting my "spin on things", lol.

that's an old pic that dirtyd88 had just photoshopped. i got rid of that filler door once i found a black one at the junkyard, lol.
here's a more recent pic with the new headlights installed.
yeah. still need to play a little with tire pressure, but definitely getting better now that i have drag radials.
