Rear (EB Expedition) blower only blows hot air (even with AC on)
Rear (EB Expedition) blower only blows hot air (even with AC on)
I originally posted this on the HVAC forum but didn't get anywhere. I'm hoping someone can be so kind as to share some insight into this. I'm pretty handy, just want to have some direction before I tear into it. Thanks in advance.

I have a 98 Expedition EB. I've searched until my figers hurt but can't find a (solid) answer. My AC works fine, I know this because it blows nice cold air from the front vents. But as soon as I engage the rear blower, it blows nothing but hot air. The other day it was above 90 and my wife and I were fine in the front with the AC on and I would have loved to have turned on the rear blowers for my small children in the back but they would have roasted.
Does it sound like a blend door issue? And if so, how do I get to it? I'm pretty handy around the car so I have no qualms about tearing into it.
Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.
