Did you check all the fuses or just the one marked for the mirrors? Did you check ***** sets of fuses? Just because a fuse dosen't have something listed dosen't mean it isn't connected, most comon fuse to go is the cig/power which can be conected to many differnt things. Easiest way to check all fuses is if you have a volt meter with sound touch both sides of the fuses and seeif it makess noise, if it dosen't then it is bad, that is where I would start.
As for the panle with theswitches yes it should just comeup bu t you need to startatthe right endwhich I can't remeber which side that is at the moment.

When that happened to mine, it was the switch. Replaced it and everything worked like it should.

If you replace the switch without disconnecticing the battery, check the fuses again after. All good fuses, switch was working intermittenly I replaced the switch and no mirrors at all, so I brought it to a shop and they said "uh you had a fuse out" Derrrr....

thanks guys i only checked the fuse for the mirrors.
i think i will pop the switch out and see if there is any power to it.
i also read here that there can be a broken wire to the power windows at the door opening so i am assuming a wire for the mirrors could break also?

i checked power to the switch, it was good so fuse was ok. so i pulled the switch out. i found out that the switch doesnt pop out of the panel you have to remove the panel first then the switch can be poped out.The panel lifts up from the front end or pointed end first then the back end can be pulled out. i did some tests and found the switch was the problem so being the cheap pr##& that i am i took the switch apart and found corrosion on some terminals and some liquid like armoral from recent detail. I cleaned it up and put it back in and presto i had both mirrors left right up but no down. out it came again and a few adjustments to the down prong and now everything works great.
so what did i save??? $60.00 ? or 3 doz beers

Nice work. My mirrors have stopped working as well and I assume it's the same situation as yours. At first I only had left and right but no up and down. I might have to try cleaning that switch up some this weekend.
