They will fit easily. I'd go with them or a 305/65-17 (33x12.50) personally.

285-70-17 Bridgestone Revo's

Fit without a worry, no torsion bar crank at all.

Get the 305's, like wandell said. You probably won't even have to touch the torsion bars, if you don't want to. You may have to do MINOR trimming on the valance. I used a dremel tool with a mini cut off wheel. i used a sharpie to draw a line at the edge of the valance. You can't tell anything was done. I think Wandell has some pics of where he did the cutting (more like a minor trim).

If you use the OEM wheels the 305/65-17's will fit easily.

I just mounted 295/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers on stock wheels on my 02 FX4 Lariet screw and absolutely love them. No issues at all, just a little cranking on the torsion bars to level the truck out.

I am getting 285/75/16 Nitto TG's next week on 16x8 American Racing wheels and am thinking of cranking the bars. When cranking the t-bars do you jack the truck up or leave it on the ground? Also where is the best place to measure from to ensure that both sides are the same height?

Ive already cranked mine i just did it on the ground and just turned each one the same amount. I imagine taking the weight off would make it easier to turn
