Can I swap a Romeo with a Windsor?
I have a 2001 F150 4x4 Supercrew that had a Romeo which is now dead. I have a lead on a nice Windsor that also came from a 2001 F150. Can anybody think of any issues I would have swapping in the Windsor? I have all the parts from the Romeo yet.
Thanks everyone!

Just cuz I wanted to know for sure...
"The Windsor engine is a 90-degree small-block V8 from Ford Motor Company. It was introduced in 1962, replacing the old Ford Y-block engine. Though not all of the engines in this family were produced at the Windsor, Ontario engine plant "
This is in referance to the Romeos...
"The engines were first produced in Romeo, Michigan but additional capacity was added in Windsor, Ontario."

Windsor is always the stronger motor thoe. built better with better parts i have the 4.6L windsor in my 97 F-150 the truck has drank water ran on 4 cyls and kept going ran with crappy plugs ran with good plugs this trucks been threw hell and i know what kinda hell ive put it threw but it keeps going and going its like the freaking energizer bunny motor! ive tryed to destroy this motor but it keeps going. ive had 6,000lbs in the bed and it was fine. should be a good swap.....go look for a lightning 5.4 while u got no motor!
