Question stock ride height of 4x4/fx4?

Im lookin to level/ lift my 2wd to somewhat of a stock height of the fx4s and 4x4s..i dont know if yall measure it at the apex of the fenders or what but let me know what yalls are. just tryin to see how high it will sit when i get a level kit/lift..

The 97-03 4x4's sit about 3 inches taller than the 4x2's. I'd suggest a set of Daystar coilspring spacers to level your truck and a 3 inch Performance Accessories body lift. This will put you at about the same height of a stock 4x4 with the torsion bars cranked up.

ok cool. well to get a 3in id have to change a lot of things. so i just might settle with a 2.5" since theres not too much id have to change...hopefully

If your f150 is stock, then you can put up to a 3" coil spacer on, and then Id do a small AAL in the back...but if you ever decide to put on anything other than your coil spacer, you would have to buy aftermarket upper A arms in order to keep the 3" coil spacer on...if you dont plan on doing anything else, its a good idea

the body lift part the wandell is talking about is completely up to you, im not a big fan unless theyre necessary..but its your truck man, make it your own!!

ya, im not doing a body lift, im going to stick with suspension. i think body lifts dont look good on my yr model. but maybe later in life a long travel susp.

Heres a few crappy rainy phone pics i took of my truck next to a 4x4. the 4x4 looks stock. both regular cab long beds. Man i want a 4x4 valance!! that and 1 or 2 inch blocks in the rear would make my truck perfect

my trucks got 2 inch coils and an AAL

wow this came out of nowhere..and yes my truck is already lifted...leveled then i put on a 2in lift spring and a 3.5" lift spindle on the front, in the rear ive got 4in block. I sit taller than most stock 4x4s. its nice.
