Hubs/bearings?

How do you know when your front hubs bearing are going bad? I am getting a clicking sound continuously. It does get louder when I turn right at speed (more weight on driver side front wheel). It basically sounds like I have gravel in my tire, but I have checked for that many times. Any ideas? Oh it is a 99 4.6 4x4 reg cab auto. The 4x4 works fine

How long do cv joints usually last? The truck has around 105k miles.

It depends upon whether the boots tear. If they do, the CV joints don't last long as dirt gets in and destroys them.
