I wasn't going to change the coils, main reason being money doesn't grow on the trees in my yard... hence why I'm doing the work myself, another reason is I'd have to wait even longer to get the shipped from this uneek guy. but If I have to wait for a stupid hat anyway, I'm considering waiting for coils too since two have the carbon tracking on anyway.

Anyone know where to find fuel injector hats? I probably can't be so lucky as to get em from uneek...

Already had gaskets back @ summer time when I had to get a gas tank, and I happened to order from RockAuto as they had the best price on the tank, so I ordered a few other things in anticipation for my CEL P0171 & P0174. So I should be covered there.

Good Luck
My hand may be forced here not by persuasion from you and blue, but by time as mentioned above. Not that I don't think you or blue are right, quite the contrary, just didn't have the time/money to replace things that work fine, just for the sake of long term integrity.

Any chance these will work? Can't get any cheaper for having it shipped to me.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Unive...4506.m20.l1116

I've also asked uneek if this is something tha could be supplied along with an order of coils. Figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

A few of use have swapped injectors w/type 3's. Those hats can fall off and cause problems in the motor. I purchased a new set for $65 from ebay 3 years ago. Improved spray pattern and No hats on the upgrades. I think tjk has a set as well? Can't recall.

JBrew, you are the only guy I know that buys stuff by the crate full rather than one or two items at a time, and photographs all his purchases!

All right I give up... What's the picture of a starter for? Should I be ordering one of those too?

Cheapest coil set I can find is 82 shipped. What do I look for to find type 3 injectors?... Since I'd have to wait for injector parts to ship anyway...I want this truck to purrrrr.... I got some wood to haul. I'll just have to cut back on my soda intake for about 2 years to pay for all this purring.

Bosch 19 lb Type 3's are on the left side of the starter - Didn't mean to confuse, only pic I had handy.

Search Ebay, they'll come right up.

How many hats do you need? I have used ones, hell I'll send yuh a couple used injectors if it will help lol.

You can get an injector kit and clean them up yourself (hats come with). -

Ye I'm ok, but too many ppl need too much done. I had to yank the rear brakes yeterday on my truck. I just did them last march (15th to be exact) and one of the new wheel cylinders crapped out. Thank God I have a "good" friend who owns the Local NAPA store. He gave the wheel cylinder , a new set of premium pads for both sides and a new passanger rear drum under warranty.
It was warped for sure but not sure how bad until I have a friend throw it on a lathe. If it looks like it can be cut without removing too much material, I'll have it done and spray it down good with WD-40, wrap it in the NAPA bags that came with the new drum and store it for emergency's or if someone needs one. Those springs on the rear brake assembly are tuff to pull on. Not bad tho, only one knuckle-buster.
Pretty cute, my 4 year old niece gave me a Scooby Doo bandaid to make me feel better.
WOO-HOO, got the ok without hesitation for my new garage this year from the wife. Didn't need her permission, it just goes alot easier knowing she is ok up front so I don't catch flack later. See, completely gutting the master bedroom and giving her the bedroom of her dreams (last year) paid off big time. I did a heck of a nice job on it. ALot of nice wood work, fire place, big walk-in closet for her, etc, etc, I built myself a walk in hunting closet, All my guns, bows, ammo, hunting gear etc. is in there.

OK , Tired and babbling again, talk to you soon.

I get a kick out of that as well. I'm thinking, in a few years, he will have enough parts that he will build a new F150 from the ground up just from the extra parts he has stored up.

It doesn't hurt to be prepared. But if it does, I could always hit tjk up for one of these -

All right I give up. I've searched endlessly and it seem getting 8 19 type 3 is not going to happen at a reasonable price. even this injector guy only has 3 but his data states 20.9 lb...(The look the same)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-...Q5fAccessories

Any chance you have a part number that I should search for instead?

Never needed a part # for an injector. Just the flow rate.

These are out of your price range ? -

They buy your old ones as well.

Maybe your to cheap or lazy, found these ^^^^ in 30 seconds.
