Fabtech Vs Sky Jacker Vs others? 1998 ext cab F150
Fabtech Vs Sky Jacker Vs others? 1998 ext cab F150
Well, the time has come to place a lift kit on my f150.
I'm planning on running it with 37-38 in tires, so I require a 6 inch lift at least along with a body lift just for the tire clearance.
What is the good choices. I was looking at Fab Tech and Sky Jacker what are the better choices?
-What are the pros and cons?
-Does sky jacker have a sag to it?
-does a fab tech 6in lift fit a extended cab 1998 f150.
-Where is a good online store?
Thanks,
Zephyr

what do you mean by a "sag?" the fabtech is a true 6'' lift, the bolt holes for the lower control arms are dropped down a full six inches lower than stock via the two piece subframe, as well as the front differential and everything else.
the construction of the fabtech kit is the best out there for our 97-03 trucks, bar none. the arched crossmembers are made from 1/4'' thick steel, and are designed to provide maximum ground clearance.
the fabtech kit will fit any 97-03 F-150, but the front frame crossmember is probably going to have to be ground down some for the lift crossmember to fit.
