L grille (pics included!)

well i grew tired of my billet grille...i really thought it looked a little cheap and sloppy imho, so i bought an L grille. Since i cut the tabs on my other grille, i had to buy the surround and insert, but it paid off since the new one isn't painted over chrome like my old one was...but anyway, here's some before and after pics (i've also added belltech drop shackles since the "old" pic)

check over on lightningrodder.com, they are fairly common to be in the classifieds in the ~$80 range

I paid $50 shipped for mine, but it was cracked (hardly notice when installed)

Looks good!! I'm in the same boat, i never find a nice OE one when I have money.

Did you have any problems with your depo clear fogs?? Mine cracked where the bulb goes in and they look like crap cause of water and the foggy look.

i found it on ebay (i think autopartsavenue or something like that was the seller name) for $150 shipped...that was for the whole surround and insert both...since i cut my tabs for my billet grille, i just bought the whole thing.
i know LMC truck also sells them for close to that price...maybe $170 or so.

Good choice. I went with a H.D. grille, swapped out a billet one i had. Looks much cleaner. What i really want to know is where did you get that hood? That's the same hood i want, but can't find. Mine has a crease in it, so it needs to be replaced anyway (long story about that incident) but i can't find where to buy the hood.

That's the Street Scene hood. I was just going to ask where you got it. It's hard to find. Did you get it direct from SS?

i actually found the hood on ebay as well for $315 shipped, which i though was a great deal...the pic in the auction was actually a little different than the one they shipped, but i liked it enough and it was cheap enough that i didn't worry too much about it...the seller was pricebusterchris...here's the hood i thought i was getting...notice how the crease in the middle doesn't extend down the whole hood..
