1999 super cab question

Anyone know if the step bars are bolted on only or are there some spot welds on them too.

I haven't heard of any that require welding after you get them, most are bolt ons, if you're looking to buy a set just make sure it's a bolt on that doesn't require welding

I removed a set from an 01 screw. The 2-3" black tube type than ran the length of the cab. Yea , it was just bolted.

when i took mine off there were 8 bolts for each running board ( 4 per each attatchment point) sorry can't remember what socket size they were, may have been 1/2"
