$320 sound right?

Ok, just priced it all.
For new rotors and pads, front and rear. $320 shipped from Rock Auto. Pads are wagner thermoquiets, rotors are wagner as well.
This sound about right? Or is that a little high?

Sounds reasonable to me. That's what I pay for new rotors and pads.

Later,

K, I'll check out rotor pros before order. The wagners are the plain, non slotted or drilled. Not looking for anything else, as I wouldn't need it.
I just hope I do have rear disc. Sure as heck looked like a rotor on the back, but lots of people insist that these trucks mostly have drums.

That's a pretty decent price considering I just paid $450 for new fronts alone, calipers, rotors and pads. Plus I added new dust shields. Rears usually run me about $220. Calipers aint cheap, specially if you don't return the cores (more than half back in returns).

Geez...I just replaced all bearings, both dust seals, Wagner rotors, and Wagner
ThermoQuiet pads on a 2wd '97 F150 today. My total out the door price was $438 for the parts. That does include a jar of hand cleaner but wow. I guess auto parts have sky-rocketed in price.

What would a brake job with quality replacement parts have cost done by a mechanic?

BTW those parts were from O'rielly Auto Parts.

Price quote from O'reilly.com for Wagner front and rear pads, and front and rear rotors is $335, and that includes free shipping.

Rock auto is cheaper for me, and I still had to pay shipping from them.
