Mine is a bullet hole, from a rather large caliber weapon (that's a quarter for reference)!

Hey, now I know who bought my old drug smuggling truck! Wait till you find what I hid in the spare tire.

In all seriousness, that's crazy man. If only that truck could talk!

I've heard of guys getting scratches on their truck and saying "It just adds character", but this guy went a little overboard. I was putting some new speakers in the front doors, and noticed the paint was peeling on the door. I started to scrape a little deeper and found this putty spot, I thought someone may have ripped the door handle off at one time and had a shoty repair attempt, but once I got the panel off, I found shattered glass in the bottom of the door, and the rest is history. I'd like to know what went on that day. I wonder if I could look up the state police records with my VIN somewhere to see if there was a police report filed on what may have happened?

wierdest thing found:

Well, it really wasn't wierd, but dangerous. I was deep cleaning the interior front seats and looked down where the seat back pivots to the seat bottom. that's where all the gummy bears, boogers and what not fall into. After digging out a layer of all the formentioned goodies i discovered 12 ga. shotgun shells(loaded) that had layed down in the grooves. i ended up pulling 6 shells out of the front seat in those grooves, as well as about $.85 cents in change.

Around here it is common to find live loose ammo in the trucks, as most of these are farm/ranch vehicles. Predator control is just a fact of life.

yeah, i wouldn't say its just too dangerous...i haven't really found anything weird in my trucks, but an '89 mustang 5.0 i bought when i was 16 had a "mysterious" smell to it, and i found a few seeds in it also. knew a local policeman and had the drug dog inspect it, and it went to barking like crazy on that 'stang! ...never found anything though...the officer said it was probably just the smell and that i may want to steam clean the carpet. lol i wanted to go ahead and let them know it was like that when i bought it rather than them bringing the drug dog to the school parking lot and THEN having to explain why their dog is barking at my car!

Many years ago I bought a used car
In the trunk I found two boxes filled with Playboy magazines.
I still have them, about 60 issues.
The date range is from around 1957 - 1965.

The pics are tame by todays standards.
What is fascinating are the interviews and articles.
Some are spot on about the future and some are way up the wrong tree.

(Kind of like some of us here)

Not my F150 but my previous Expy. I bought it from a dealer in Albuquerque, NM while visiting there and brought it home to LA. About a week or so later I dropped my cell phone between the console and the driver's seat. Reached down to get it and came up with - a different cell phone! Charged the battery and called the owner. It belonged to a family who apparently had taken the same Expy for a test drive a few days before I bought it. They'd gone back to the dealership searching for the phone but never looked in the truck. I sent it back, oh , and found my phone too!

I found pot plants growing under the seat of a truck I bought in high school. Just starting to sprout. Thinking back, I guess I should have transplanted them.
