Headlight swap: stock to Harley

I would like to swap the stock headlights and corners for the Harley versions (amber strip on the bottom of both the headlight & corner lamp). Does the harley version use a different bulb that won't fit my stock wiring harness? Also, where can you buy these other than Ford who wants $700 for both sides. Any info or help would be greatly appreciated.

ebay is where pretty much everyone gets theirs from...including myself. I went with a little more aftermarket look with the black interiors, but you can find harley replicas, lightning replicas and different versions of each. Im super happy with how mine look, fit and perform!

The dark lights look good with your paint, but wouldn't go with my set up. I have looked online and have not found any replicas that have the amber strip on both the headlight and the corner lamp. All I have found is the lightning replicas which have the amber strip on just the corner. If anyone knows of a site that has them please let me know.

you can use the stock bulbs, however i recommend using a clear bulb in the corner, and only other thing you would need is the retaining ring that holds the bulb in the headlight. the ring is different then stock, and are like 10 bucks per side from Ford

Yep I'd go with LMC if youre set on those, if you like the lightning style lights too ebay has a ton of styles for reasonable prices. I got my Depo crystal lightning lights and corners off ebay for around $120 shipped if I remember correctly. Oh and if I were you I'd check out stealthbulbs for the turn signals that look clear/chrome when off but light up amber when on, really cleans up the look of the lights IMO.

I found this ad on craigslist and if its really what he's got. Its a KILLER DEAL..."I have a set of Factory Ford F150 Headlights, Markerlights and Taillights from a 2001 F150 Harley Supercrew. This a 6 piece set in very good condition and includes bulbs in the headlights. These will fit 97-03 F150 stepside and supercrew. I am selling everything for $100.00. Contact me at 904-226-2236."

I would have totally jumped on it if i didnt have new heads already. If anyone calls, let me know what you find out
