Two questions

Well, I took the truck onto Ford yesterday to have an alignment done. (tires look like they are wearing on the outsides faster than the rest.) After about 2 hours of waiting the guy calls me out and says, "The alignment machine doesn't fit on my wheels." WTF He said there is no lip for it to grab or something. SO no alignment for me. This sound right to yall? If so would a different alignment machine work?

While it was in there, I asked them to check and see if I had a torque converter drain plug, answer came back no. So my next question is, should I get the trans flushed or do the service myself? (Drop pan, change filter and replace fluid). I don't think the trans fluid has ever been changed by previous owner.

Truck is a 2002 with 94,000 miles.

Some older alignment machines won't attatch to larger wheels or wheels without a lift. You can just go to another shop or install your oem wheels to have the alignment done.
