I've seen a few trucks with the GT-Supercar engine in them and they run fast but for me I'll stick with a procharged 5.4 stroked to 6.2

Arg, I recently found out that an LS7 isn't able to fit inside any Ford. So I did some more researching and I found this at jegs.com.

http://www.jegs.com/p/World+Products/980350/10002/-1

Think it's a good pick for it's price?

You can make an LS7 fit, but it will be A LOT of work.

And why not just go to the Ford Racing website and look at their crate engines? I would trust a Ford 427 over a remake....

I already have. So I assume that ANY crate engine thatis build for ford will fit in any model? For example: I take a GT500 and it would fit in my F-150?

edit: A GT500 engine, not the car.

Kinda. You will have to mod the engine compartment accordingly. A GT500 will fit, since it is basically the 5.4 with different tuning, etc. You will have to re-arrange the engine mounts and what not, but essentially, it will fit.

Edit: Someone correct if I'm wrong.....

The 5.4 GT500 will bolt right up to his motor mounts. No problem,,,drop er right in there.

You could save a ton of money going with a similar setup as I have and have no problem running a 6 or 7 1/8.
Hell,,,I run 7s in my Supercrew in the 1/8!

the procharged truck is still in Texas yeah it'll be terrorising some imports again later on this spring just something about the whole "farm truck" running away from them makes the driver get upset
