ok so one day the 4x4 just wont engage nothing

the electronic switch doesnt eve light up and the one on the cluster doesnt light up either no noise no nothing

the 4x4 light on the cluster does pop on then off when starting the truck like its supposed to

where to start? any help

 

The first place I'd look, would be the fuses! If nothings lighting up! Check out your manual, as see what fuses are for the 4x4. There's more then one! So your gonna have to check them all!

 

The same thing is happening to my 97. I've checked all the fuses, the solenoids on the firewall and everything checks out. I don't know where to turn, we're in the middle of a blizzard and I can't even get out of my driveway. Hopefully someone can help.Thanx in advance
