2002f150 if you dont do alot of trailer backing id go double 5% on the back window and 20% on the sides to stay somewhat legal and dont forget the 5% strip on the windshield

and sstryker looks like youre 2wd so id reccomend the fabtech 7.5" lift
btw those are sweet seats

blackedoutV6 thanks for the comments on my seats, they were a pain to make brackets for since they didn't line up with my 60/40 setup haha. About the lift..... i don't have a lift i can use and a buddy of mine said he could set me up with a 6" lift for my 2wd and it wouldn't be a problem at all. I think anything over 6" would be too much for me haha.

dirtyd88 the wooden door handles i mean are the door arm rests i kind of worded that wrong sorry lol. The motor im running is a 4.6 with an exhaust that has very little back pressure. It is a pretty beasty intake haha i will take pics of it tomorrow....

interested in seeing the finished arm rests lol

but the reason i suggested the 7.5 kit is cus itll put you at the same height as a 4wd truck with a 6 inch kit, i really dont know for sure if anyone actually makes a true 6" kit for 2wds....i know rancho makes a 4" tho

RCD makes a 6" lift for 2wds, but it is around the same price of the fabtech. I kind of like it better though - ChrisT has this lift on his 2wd 4.2 scab. I think it looks better sitting at 6" lift than at 7.5" lift - but i have seen some trucks with the fabtech lift that look sweet too though...lol as you can tell, i can't decide which one i like better; just like i can't decide whether i want to lift or to lower haha i think you're having the same problem i am, looking at some of your other posts.

haha yeahhhh i cant decide.....i will talk to my buddy and see what he thinks. I forgot to tell you guys that i will be keeping my stock wheels and my 285 tires on my truck for a while after i get my lift put on. So i think the 6" would be good, a really tall lift with stock wheels and 285's would look kinda weird IMO lol. What you guys think?

dang cashel!
those 38s sure threw some mud, howd you get out of that one?

and i figured someone made a 6" lift, ive just never seen one
and the only way id lift my truck is if it was 4wd, so this ones going lower
but im gonna make sure the next one goes higher!

sstryker...I have the 7.5"lift bud and it puts you the same height as the other "6" inch lift kits for our 2WD's...like the others said, RCD and ProComp both make "6" inch lifts for our trucks, but theyre actually 7.5" because of the extra clearance needed for 2WD's to clear 35's...take a look at mine and I think you should get a good idea of what yours would look like since we have pretty much the same truck...

And btw, I want your seat set up man!!!! I have been wanting to do that for so long!!! PM me so we can talk about what you spent and some details!

1BAF150 thanks for the inspiration man!!! Your truck has the exact stance and height i was looking for. I was even looking into getting rims similar to that except they are black. Wow awesome thanks again!
