That picture right there is the only reason I would move to California.

Yea, not only are the lifts hard to find, but the truck in general is hard to find. Took me 4 months to find a single cab I liked. Had to go all the way to the mountains in north carolina to get mine. Would do it all over again too.
I don't have any big plans to lift it sky high though, since it is my DD. Have 33s now, but I want to go to 35s and some outlaw ll wheels. Maybe down the road.

East of the Sierra Nevada in California has some incredible wheeling! These pics were taken on my favorite run which starts at 4000' and ends up at about 10,000'.

I've lived my whole life in California, all in relatively rural areas (I HATE cities). The physical beauty of the state is amazing, from the desert of Death Valley to the rain forest of Eureka. Pretty much everything else here is just sad. Insane housing prices, insane taxes, insane rules and regulations, the list goes on. It's my home and I love it here, but I'm just not sure how much longer I'm going to keep sacrificing to live here (I make $100K a year, live in a dump, drive 10 yr old cars, have no kids and don't have a dime saved).

lol yeah its pretty much open diff so its 1wd for now. I put daystar coil spring spacers in the front along with roughcountry leveling springs (2 leveling kits) and i got a pair of longer controll arms so it could be aligned. the back has 2" blocks under the leaf springs and then i have a 3" body lift all the way around. I know the lift is getto but I lifted it and got the 315/75/16 pro comp a/t's all for under $800. (tires were blemishes from 4wheel parts for $90 each!)
