Deeregeff - I like the painted valence. Did you also paint the side steps? If so, how is the paint holding up from all the getting in and out?
Thanks,

I actually have added several mods since that picture was taken including a set of the Depot fogs along with HID's in both the heads and fogs. Since the truck sit's higher, I run the fog's as my headlights most of the time, especially in town.

Thanks,
I painted the valance myself using some Krylon Fusion paint and then clearcoated it. It has held up well as I painted it over 5 years ago and it has been my daily driver including winter driving. I did not paint the running boards, but use Meguiars plastic and vinyl cleaner, #40 I think, on them to keep them looking new.

I can't tell if you already cut your valence for those tow hooks, but if you hack the frame back to the point of where the mounting bracket is for the bumper, and buy some GM tow hooks, it'll look completely stock rather than drooping down like that.

Haha, well that answered me. How do you like those fogs? I am getting a pair for Christmas, and putting them in a reproduction 4x4 lower valance. Do they put out quite a bit of light compared to the OE fluted ones??

DirtyD88, I installed the HID's in the fogs when I installed them. They do give a nice pattern with the HID's in them.
