P1000 OBD Systems Readiness Test Not Complete

How long does the OBD Systems Readiness Test cycle usually take?

Thanks

Just realized this went to the wrong thread. Can anyone answer anyway? Sorry about the error.

not long. the pcm needs to cycle through all sensors etc and relearn driving to adjust parameters. Prob 20-40 mins of continious driving should do it.

Is there anyway to know when the ecu has finished the relearn cycle, besides using a obd check, i goofed and waited to long to fix a check engine light and get emissions and now my tags expired so i can't really drive out on the roads, or to get to autozone and use an obd reader. my emissions all passed except for the "readiness" and i need to make sure before i go the ecu has fully reset, so i don't waste the money i already paid for emissions, doh! Thanks in advance!

Can take hours to meet all conditions, I know I'm having to do it now. I can send the official "Drive Cycle" if you want. Send PM with e-mail.

It might take days or it might take weeks unless you know how to bypass it. If you know how, it takes two drive cycles.

Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know how the system works.
