Galpin Ford Car Show 2018

Discover plenty of custom, classic, and modern F-150s and other badass Ford trucks and cars at Galpin Ford’s seventh annual fall classic.

The summer is fast becoming a distant memory now that fall is here. The nearby park is sporting leaves of red, orange, and gold. The weekend is full of football and Buffalo wings. Everything is pumpkin spice. And, of course, there are new Ford F-150s hitting the showroom floor and dealer lots, just waiting to make the rest of the year the best time ever.

And speaking of the best time ever, if you’re in Los Angeles on the first weekend of October, you need to head a half-hour northwest to North Hills, California, home of the No. 1 Ford dealership in the world for 28 years running, Galpin Ford. On October 7, Galpin Ford will host its seventh annual Galpin Ford Car Show on the Galpin Campus from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The annual gathering at Galpin Ford will have nearly 1,000 vehicles on display, including a few classic and modern F-Series pickups (maybe even a Shelby F-150?). Whether it’s a full-on drag truck, a lifted rock crawler, or a restomod farm truck, it’ll likely be there among all of the other Fords, Shelbys, and various sorts of trucks and cars around.

In addition to the main event, there will also be a kids zone with activities like carnival games, rides, and even the chance to paint an F-Series pickup. There will also be plenty of food and beverages, live entertainment, live remotes by L.A. radio giants KROQ-FM and KRTH-FM, and special guest vehicles.
