2017 Ford F-150 Raptor vs 2017 Ram Rebel TRX
The off-road truck segment is heating up quickly with the appearance of a very worthy contender in Ford’s radar. The 2017 Ram Rebel TRX.
While Ford has had the full-size off-road truck segment to themselves for years, other manufacturers have sat on the sidelines hoping to bring a product to market that could create the amount of buzz and sales like the Raptor has. Sure, Toyota has their pretty-sweet Tundra TRD Pro, which is by all means an excellent off-roader, but it’s a bit antiquated on the technology side.
Ram came out with the Rebel, a good-looking, capable, and well-equipped truck, but it couldn’t compete against the Raptor on off-road performance due to a much lower price-point. And then there’s Chevy… those poor guys.
The Ram Rebel TRX made its debut at the State Fair of Texas just a few days ago, and this video by New Car, shows us some of the design highlights of each truck side-by-side.
