Rad Rides’ Crazy Kryptek Camo Ford F-250 Proudly Stands Out
Whether you enjoy admiring looks or need an effective advertising tool, Rad Rides’ wild F-250 will get it done.
Many of us prefer to take a subtle approach to most things in life. Our introverted nature assures that we will never be the folks who speak up in a crowd, nor drive around town in some audaciously-styled pickup. But if you’re on the opposite end of the spectrum and seek all the attention you can possibly get, you’re going to love this wild 2019 Ford F-250 built by Rad Rides out of Garland, Texas. Mostly because it’s one of the craziest-looking things we’ve seen in some time.
But that’s precisely why it was built in the first place. It appears that the owner of this F-250 is a business man, and his pickup is his rolling business card. So that kryptek camo vinyl wrap job is an entirely intentional modification designed to make us look up from our smart phones and take notice. In that case, we say mission accomplished. This F-250 most certainly got our attention, and we’re betting it doesn’t slip through town unnoticed, either.
These things are nothing new to the appropriately named Rad Rides, of course. The company has been cranking out crazy trucks for over a decade now, in fact. But they also do simple mods like spray-in bedliners, wheels and tires, or leveling and lift kits. Or, you can simply go crazy and either have them completely redo your existing ride, or just buy a turnkey head turner.
In this case, the customer commissioned a build guaranteed to get him noticed. And that certainly won’t be a problem. In addition to the wild wrap job, this F-250 also rides high thanks to a 6″ lift. It rolls on an attractive set of Fuel Vapor wheels and knobby BFGoodrich all-terrain tires. And there’s enough LED lighting in the front end to illuminate a small county.
Throw in lots of nifty little custom details like custom Rad Rides badges, and you’ve got a truck guaranteed to make folks stop in their tracks. Even if it technically wears “camouflaged” bodywork. Now, what was once a mundane, stock F-250 promises to serve as a rather effective piece of rolling advertisement. And that’s an investment that always pays off.
