SEMA F-150

Aquatic-themed Ford truck & Flipper’s dream ride goes for over $50,000.

Are you the type of person who loves the ocean and all of its inhabitants? Well, we already know you’re an F-150 fan (duh), so we’ve got the perfect truck for you, sea-fiend. This SEMA F-150 build isn’t just an awesome truck with tons of high-end components, it’s also got one amazing custom aquatic paint job. “The Sea Life Truck,” as it’s known, fittingly hammered at the Las Vegas Barrett-Jackson auction for $50,600.

Obviously, a ton of money went into making this 2004 F-150 the showpiece you see before you. The custom airbrushed paint job depicting all sorts of sea creatures took a ton of man hours to complete. And the interior received airbrushing to match the outside, in addition to a ton of custom touches.

The door panels and center console are all custom molded, and there’s an outrageous stereo system filling the cab with speakers. A giant 15-inch monitor resides in the dash, and suede covers everything from the arm rest to the steering wheel center section.

Underneath, the truck has received a custom Bulletproof suspension lift kit with Fox Shox. It rolls on 22-inch BRP wheels wrapped in 40-inch Toyo off road tires. SSB brakes slow down the ocean roller, and 4.88 rear gears give it a little more oomph off the line.

Even if you’re not exactly Jacques Cousteau, it’s hard not to appreciate the work that went into this SEMA F-150 build. It’s truly a head turner and a finely detailed work of art. Even if you aren’t the type of person who likes to get wet.
