Apparently thieves just love the Ford Super Duty F-250. They especially love the crew cab with four-wheel drive. It tops the list of the most recent report issued by the Highway Data Loss Institute, edging out the Chevy Silverado and Avalanche.
Ford doesn’t see this as great PR, and quickly sent out a statement: “Ford vehicles, including F-Series trucks, offer the latest in anti-theft technologies and features to help provide customers with peace-of-mind for the security of their vehicles and belongings.”
